How much should you pay for your professional products?

In a world of many many expenses, how do we know what amount is too much when we are purchasing our chemicals and backbar products?
- Is it 20%? 30%? 50%?
- How can one really "tell" how much is too much?
- Sometimes you just have to trust the advice of the higher ups in the business world!
I had a really good consultant/coach who helped me through all of this "number" stuff. I continue to seek counsel on issues such as budgeting, marketing, hiring, etc.
It's imperative that you know your numbers! So what's the answer to the question?
- 5% That's it! 5% is your budget for all of your backbar and chemicals for your services.
How is this calculated?....SIMPLE!
- Add all of your entire sales up from the point of your last product order, and multiply it by .05.
- Total service sales X .05= Your budget for all supplies to get your clients DONE!
What if you can't get everything you need in 5% or less?
- Well, are you REALLY watching what you order? Can you cut your buying at all?
- If not, you may need to RAISE YOUR PRICES to get your 5% budget in line!
NEED HELP RAISING YOUR PRICES? You need to watch my business course (Instant Salon Sucess) that will walk you through EXACTLY how to EASILY do that! -Watch it again if you have already seen it!!!!
