Starting in 2025, LLR, the Labor Licensing and Regulation department of South Carolina began requiring licensees under the Cosmetology Board to complete a 4 hour CE course before they can transfer their license from another state. Many people have reached out to us for clarification asking, "What CE class is good for endorsement in South Carolina?"

In order to renew your cosmetology, esthetician, nail tech or barber license in Georgia, you must complete 5 hours of CE with a Gorgia state board-approved CE provider. This can all be done online on this website right from the comfort of your own space. This can be completed on any device of your choice! The CE hours are broken up into two different types of requirements. Cosmetology licenses expire on March 31, 2026!

So what happens once you are within 2 weeks until renewal before all of your CE's are complete?
