Ohio Cosmetology License Renewal Requirements for 2027 – What You Need to Know

In order to renew your cosmetology, esthetician or nail tech license in Ohio, you must complete 4 hours of CE with an Ohio state board-approved CE provider. Requirement 2. You must complete the free 1 hour Laws & Rules course from the board of Ohio. The Board's continuing education tracking system is powered by CE Broker. The CE Broker platform makes it easy to track your indivdual CE hours completion for compliance with the renewal process.
