When do I have to have CEU completed in South Carolina?

Hey!
I wanted to take a second to do a quick update on deadlines for CEU's to be completed. Many people have asked me the question "When do I have to have CEU completed in South Carolina?", and I felt like it would be good to just let you know the answer also. A few years ago, the Board changed the rule that CEU's just need to be completed by the March 10th expiration date. It used to be that we had to have them completed by December 31st of the previous year. Now that the rule changed, it makes it a little bit easier for us to procrastinate. Not good!
Here's why. If you don't give yourself enough time:

• to get your CEU's completed 

• submitted to USC

• sent to LLR

• uploaded to LLR's system

you will find yourself not being able to renew your license in time. You could be put in a situation where your license is expired and you are forced to wait for your CEU's to process before you can work! Again...not good!
