SOUTH CAROLINA!!! This is an IMPORTANT reminder that every March 10th of even years MANY licenses will go into non-renewable status. Not a good position to be in because this means that a licensee in this position will have to retake the state board exam if they miss this deadline. 

In order to renew your cosmetology, esthetician or nail tech license in Ohio, you must complete 4 hours of CE with an Ohio state board-approved CE provider. This can all be done online on this website right from the comfort of your own space. This can be completed on any device of your choice! The CE hours are broken up into two different types of requirements.

Georgia! It's that time of the year already! Time to save lots of money on tons of items we really don't even need, haha! But, it's still the busiest and can be the most joyful time of the year with friends and family! Because it can be the busiest time of the year, it's easy to forget about the one thing that may not necessarily be a want, but definitely is a need...your CE courses. This year, we decided to let everyone have access to the Black Friday and Cyber Monday specials early to allow you time to have it done (or at least waiting in your account), and get the special deal. 

When considering the amount of licensed Cosmetologists, Nail Technicians and Estheticians compared to the number of licensed Instructors, it's a BIG difference. There are very few Instructors compared to the amount of total licensees in South Carolina. 
I think it's important to get a lot more great Cosmetologists, Nail Technicians and Estheticians to teach others. The best way to do this is to officially become a licensed Instructor.
