In South Carolina, licensed Barbers and licensed Cosmetologists are under two different governing Boards. The Cosmetologists, Nail Technicians, Estheticians and Instructors are under the Cosmetology Board. The Barbers, Barber Instructors and Master Hair Care Specialists are under the Barber Board. In January 2022, a bill was brought and read on the SC House floor for the first time. This bill (if passed) would give the opportunity for Barbers, Barber Instructors, Hair Care Specialists and Cosmetologists to work under the same "beauty salon" roof for the first time.
Hey! It's that time again already! Yes, time to start planning Thanksgiving meals and getting ready for the rest of the holidays coming soon....but, it's also time to get your South Carolina continuing education (CE) classes online! With all of the holidays coming up, it's a great idea to go ahead and get your online CE for South Carolina cosmetology, nail technician, esthetician and instructor licenses done! No matter what, South Carolina CE credits roll over for up to 4 years (as of this writing).
Hey, guess what Georgia Cosmetology Instructors! You now have until November 30, 2024 to renew your license! Due to all of the states website issues this year, the board has extended the Georgia Cosmetology renewal deadline for all licensees! This includes Cosmetology, Nail and Esthetics Instructors. You are required to complete 15 hours to renew your license.
After completing your cosmetology, esthetician, nail technician or instructor CEU course with us, licensees that are in Texas can print a certificate right from your account. Just simply make sure you are logged in, click your name or profile image in the top corner, and click on "certificates" and you can print your certificate to provide when needed!
(This is NOT the process for South Carolina licensees. Click Here if you are a South Carolina licensee.)
What type of clients do YOU have?
Do you find yourself happy with ALL of the clients you have?
Are you finding yourself ANNOYED daily?
Do you dread when THAT client is walking in the door?
Hey *|FNAME|*!
I wanted to share a quick tip with you that I started doing to keep the brass out of a root touch up on level 5-6 that has a target level of 8 or 9.
